Goodie Ibru, one of the famous Ibru siblings, has been announced needed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. In a notice, EFCC representative, Wilson Uwujaren, said Goodie, 74 years of age, is needed regarding tax evasion, trick, burglary, capital market extortion and preoccupation of assets. From the notice, plainly Ibru's offense radiated from his chairmanship of Ikeja Hotels, proprietors of Sheraton Hotel in Abuja and Lagos, Capital Hotel and Federal Palace Hotel. The responsibility for organization has been a subject of debate between Maiden Ibru, distributer of The Guardian daily paper and Goodie Ibru.
Lady's late spouse, Alex Ibru was a co-chief of the organization. However, when he passed on, a battle started for the control of the organization. The EFCC in its notice on its site said:"The open is therefore informed that Goodie Minabo Ibru is needed by the EFCC regarding an instance of intrigue, capital market extortion, taking, preoccupation of assets and tax evasion.
